Security

Contract data deserves a plain account of how it is handled.

Contracts and negotiation history are among the most sensitive things a legal team works with. Here is a direct account of what Aqeili stores, how long it keeps it, who can reach it, and how it is protected - stated honestly, without overclaiming.

What is stored

Aqeili stores the contracts, templates, playbook positions and negotiation history you put into it, so the engine can draft, compare and keep the record.

  • Templates and generated drafts
  • Playbook positions and approved fallbacks
  • Redline rounds and version history

Encryption

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, using established, industry-standard encryption. Traffic between your browser and Aqeili is protected end to end.

  • Encrypted in transit (TLS)
  • Encrypted at rest
  • No contract text sent to third parties for training

Access scope

Access to your contracts and playbooks is scoped to your account and the people you authorise. Internal access is limited to what is needed to operate and support the service.

  • Access scoped to your account
  • Authorised users only
  • Least-privilege internal access

Retention

Your data is retained while your account is active so the repository and negotiation record stay intact. On closure, data is removed in line with the terms agreed with you.

  • Retained while your account is active
  • Removed on closure per agreed terms
  • Export available before removal

Assistance, not final authority

Aqeili assists drafting and redlining. It does not replace attorney review for final execution decisions. The engine surfaces, ranks and drafts responses to change - whether to accept, counter or sign remains a decision for a qualified lawyer on your side.

Compliance posture

Stated as it stands today.

We describe our security posture in terms of what is true now, not aspirations. Encryption in transit and at rest, scoped access, and clear retention are in place today. As formal certifications and attestations are completed, they will be published here - and not before. If you have specific compliance requirements, talk to us and we will give you a straight answer on where we stand.
